Marc Bredo, CPA

I was born and raised in Edmonton, but never enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the city.  I branched out to Vegreville to experience a smaller community atmosphere and promptly purchased my first home.  I thoroughly enjoy my three minute drive to work and five minute commute to the golf course.  Although the first question everyone asks relates to the local Pysanka, my experiences derived from living here have shown the depth of character this community contains.

Growing up I was involved in organized sports such as hockey and lacrosse, but enjoyed spending the majority of the summer at my parent’s cabin on Wabamun Lake. I continue to play hockey for the Wildemen, the firm’s recreational hockey team.  I believe that sports are an integral part of youth development, experiencing firsthand the joy of sport throughout my year and a half as the treasurer of KidSport Vegreville.

I am one of two recent graduates of the Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) common final exam (CFE) at our office.  Both Bryce and I were fortunate enough to pass the first offering of the new exam in September 2015.  The two and a half year journey leading up to the exam would not have been possible without the exceptional support of our co-workers.  The three years of experience gained at Wilde and Company have greatly increased my depth of knowledge and have resulted in my success within the CPA program.
