Personal Tidbits

I was born and raised on a farm outside of Daysland. After nearly five years of living and working in sunny Florida, I returned home to Alberta in 2015 to be nearer to family and friends. Outside of work, I’m an outdoorsy and active person. In the summer months, I enjoy hiking, camping, and golfing. During winter, I play rec volleyball and recently took up skate skiing to prevent myself from hibernating. Working in Vegreville is a welcome return to my rural roots and a great opportunity to connect with quality people. I look forward to continue building OlsonLaw’s presence in the community and the surrounding areas.

Education and Experience

In 2009, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from MacEwan University. After undergrad, I moved to Florida where I attended Florida Coastal School of Law and obtained my Juris Doctor degree in 2013. From there, I successfully completed the Florida Bar exam and became a licensed member of the Florida Bar. I remained in Jacksonville where I worked for the State of Florida as a Judicial Staff Attorney until 2015. Since my return to Alberta, I have successfully completed each of the exams required by the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and obtained my Certificate of Qualification in 2016. Ultimately, this winding road has led me here, to OlsonLaw, and I could not be happier to be doing the work we do while learning under an experienced mentor like Mr. Olson.
