I was raised on a farm just outside of Mallaig, Alberta where I helped my dad, mom, 2 brothers and 1 sister to maintain a herd of 400 cow-calf pairs. Growing up, when I wasn’t working on the farm, I always enjoyed staying active and played on the Mallaig Stingers volleyball, x-country, badminton and track teams as well as for the Mallaig Monarch hockey team. After I graduated from high school in 2010, I spent a few years working for Precision Well Servicing before I decided to move to Edmonton to get a degree in accounting. In January of 2017, I was fortunate to get a job with Wilde & Co and get back to the small town atmosphere that I enjoyed so much while I was growing up.

After graduating from Mallaig School in 2010 and spending a stint working in the oil patch, I decided to apply for the Accounting and Strategic Measurement Diploma at MacEwan University. In 2014, I graduated from that program and transferred into the Bachelor of Applied Business program with a major in accounting and in 2016 I finally graduated and received my degree. I look forward to begin working toward my CPA designation in the spring and getting more involved in the town of Vegreville in the years to come.
